mistake.
we made a mistake of assuming the italians were exhausted (well toni really was). we made a mistake of expecting a penalty shootout. we made a mistake of therefore losing our concentration towrds the end of ET. n it cost us the finals.
sigh.
well.. congrats italy n fans. it was a gd game. very smart of italy to bank on our confidence in penalties.
as for my darlings, we can try again in 2010. very very good effort tis time. but ballack, get a move on cos u can't score anymore. ur inaccuracy has cost us many opportunities. all in all, Germany is still my fav team. 3rd or 4th, it dzn matter. podolski n lahm rocks my socks!!
