iceman called!

here i was.. juz signed in to msn, happy to see iceman online, n then my phone rang.
unknown no.
contemplation. i dun really fancy talking on d phone, so i'm wary of unfamiliar nos.
ah wtf. i'm bored. call answered.

"Hello, may i speak to Miss Fxxxxxxx Kxxxxxx please? I'm calling from the Ministry of Manpower, and I would like to enquire as to why she refuses to work. She has been idle for some time, now."
"Haha. Very funny. Who's this?"
"This is Mr Lee here."
"Oh pls.. Sape ni?"
"Wxxxx lahhh.. kat ne?"

at first i didn't kno which Wxxx he is, but after a while i realised it's iceman. i soooo didn't expect him to call! d only phone convo we've had b4 tis was when i was waiting for him at lido, n he was waiting for me at tamp during d big fuckup. n tt lasted less than 5min. n so tis time, d hour and a half convo began.. he was at work, apparently bored, n decided to call me. so i talked to him until he got home n slept.

d convo wasn't submerged in niceties n flirtations or sweet nothings, n it rocked. we were talking like frens, but it also felt like it meant more - a sociology grad shd kno basic analysis, i suppose. haha.. i guess it's d notion behind it, d symbolism and the works. ok now i'm on d verge of being d typical woman, reading too much into things. but seriously. he even joked tt i'm arrogant, nvr called him b4.. so he had to call me. "ur bz with I..M..F wat..." was my comeback. a gd one at that. anyway, it means i now hv d green light to call him whenever i want!

i'm loving the progress.
finally.. positive signs from iceman. the man who, initially, seemed to hv no emotions.

abt d bf.. hmm. he's started to show signs of insecurity. subtle ones, tho. but still thr.

y must iceman budge only when i got myself a stand-in bf? but as Lee said, tis is a better problem than wondering when he's ever gonna defrost in d first place.

and so my life gets exciting by the day!
