Everything turns grey..

Where did all the colours go? I'm scared, I'm unsure. Haven't felt this way in a long time. With the new year coming up, all I can ask for is colours. I want the colours back in my life. The ruby, the emerald, the azure, the amber, the pearl, and everything else in between. You know how it is with skydiving. You take the leap of faith, you get the adrenaline rush as you soar through the layers of atmosphere (almost) and you expect to land safely. But what happens when you tug on your parachute and it doesn't work? That's when everything turns grey. Will I ever get the parachute to billow out before I hit the ground?
